Burey Gold Limited, formerly Mamba Resources Ltd, is an Australia-based company engaged in the acquisition and exploration of mineral interests prospective for precious metals and energy. During the fiscal year ended June 30, 2006, Burey had undertaken technical and legal due diligence on a number of projects in Fiji, Madagascar, Guinea (West Africa) and Australia. “Burey” is the historical name of what was a very productive gold province in the ancient Mali Empire (11th to 14th century). The company is involved in Gold Exploration. The company has also acquired some Uranium properties. Burey Gold Limited engages in the exploration of mineral properties, primarily gold and uranium in Guinea and Australia. It holds an option to acquire 70% interest in the Mansounia gold project, which comprises an area of 145 square kilometers, located in central eastern Guinea, approximately 150 kilometers from the borders with Mali and Ivory Coast. The company also holds an option to acquire interests in a portfolio of uranium assets, which consists of 26 exploration licenses covering a total of approximately 5,040 square kilometers in Western Australia and South Australia, including 10 exploration licenses in Gascoyne Region, 4 exploration licenses in Kintyre East project, and 12 exploration licenses in South Australia. In addition, it holds interest in the Lyndon-Jailor Bore uranium project, situated 250 kilometers north east of Carnarvon, Western Australia; the Eudamullah, Nyang East, Bordah Well, Winmar Creek, Mt James, Mt Phillips, and Johnson Well project areas are in close proximity of Lyndon-Jailor Bore; and the Kintyre East project in the Gibson Desert in the north west of the state off the Canning Stock Route. Further, the company has interests in the Port Lincoln project area near Port Lincoln in South Australia, which comprises the Lock, Mount Hill, Cleve, and the Port Lincoln projects; the Yankalilla lease, south of Adelaide, consists of 52 square kilometers; and Olary, Prospect Hill, and Mirackina projects in South Australia. Burey Gold was incorporated in 2005 as Mamba Resources, Ltd. and changed its name to Burey Gold Limited in March 2006. The company is based in Balcatta, Australia.
