Oklo Uranium Limited is listed on the Australian Stock Exchange (ASX) under stock code OKU. The company has raised $800,000 of seed capital for the purposes of acquiring uranium projects in Australia and overseas. Oklo Uranium has developed a uranium exploration model based on the geomorphological characteristics of the Tertiary uranium deposits of Namibia to acquire projects on a global front. A total of eight uranium projects in Africa and Australia make up the company’s portfolio. All of these occur within areas with known uranium mineralisation or with known uranium deposits. The exploration model used by Oklo broadly states that uranium, in elevated concentrations, may occur in palaeo-drainage sediments that are derived from, and are in close proximity to, rocks with elevated levels of uranium. The upper sections of palaeo-drainage systems within granite terrains were preferentially selected. You can view their investor website here. OKU was listed on the ASX on 16 May, 2007. Peter Meagher (Exec Chairman), Ross Brown (MD), Glenn Whiddon (Non-Exec Director), Nigel Maund (Exploration Manager). Langer Heinrich-Yeelirrie and Athabasca type unconformity style uranium deposits in Australia and overseas.
